Today I contacted Pelayo ensuring that he was still available for the documentary on the 13th. He said that yes he has marked it on the calendar and that he is ready to shoot on his return from his travels. This is excellent news as the idea is set and I can work out what the shots are that I want as well as work on the mise en scene for the documentary.
After this, I checked in with my equipment supplier and interviewer to verify that they are prepared and still available for the shoot. They said that they were available and that he will acquire the equipment from the school by signing out for it.
This was comforting information as it settled the idea once and for all, and ensured that everyone taking part was prepared, this made me confident with preparing the set and mise en scene for filming, having this information also assured me that I would not have to change my idea.
