Website creation and progress:
Following my website design, I ensured that I kept to my colour pallet using black and white which was nice for the design of my website. As well as blurbs that explained the release of my documentary 'Young Fashion', of which I embed onto my home page. Under this, I wrote a blurb talking about Lucas. I then added my social media, Instagram on my header using the white font as well as the midnight font, I wanted my header to be simple to navigate without being cramped presenting all the pages which I believe I achieved. The Opening home page starts by presenting the logo of the production company ' Youth fashion documentaries and productions'. Finally, on the home page, I also added my telephone number on the contact bar at the bottom of the page as well as its copyrights.
On my main home page I also wanted to include a quick shop, showing some of the merchandise items that are for sale, I believe this gave a nice structure to my home page.
On my shop page, I made sure all my products were displayed clearly and that their positioning would work both on desktops and on phones. I made my shop page and basket very simple and functional as well as making the buy option pop up in black to create a nice contrast, to make it realistic I added some tags saying that certain items were on sale as well as what was the shops most popular item.
I then set up my cast and crew page, talking about the contributors and myself the image above presents the original layout that I was not pleased with so I changed it to the template shown below, each contributor has an image of themselves and a description.
After this, I moved onto my story page, where I wrote about what the documentary is about and added a BTS photo beside it.
I then worked on my magazine page where I included all my magazine covers with their release dates. The page matched the colour schemes of the others. Finally, I made my release and dates page following my website plan and include the international release dates and where including the logo.
