Choosing the song

' Take it or leave it' or 'Peach ' 

In today's lesson, we discussed our options of songs after listening to Daisy's four-song choices which overall we decided were a bit too old-sounding which could be an issue for casting. After discussing all the songs we had left we narrowed our selection down to two songs being 'Take it or leave it' and 'Peach', we found this decision to be rather difficult as we liked both songs very much. We decided it would be beneficial to re-check how many streams each song has. Since last looking the views of 'Take it or Leave it' had increased quite a bit as it was now at 25,470 listens on Spotify due to the fact it was on the increase we decided it may be beneficial to go with Peach which only has 6,303 views and it also gives us the opportunity to do a relatively colorful and quirky video which we were excited about. In the end, we decided to go ahead with  Peach as it has more creative freedom to play with compared to 'Take it or leave it'. Another reason we went with Peach was because this way we didn't have to find the people who can play the instruments as this year there is a limited pool of drummers to choose from which may of been an issue for 'Take it or leave it'.
