Today I had a discussion with Phil about, the addition of pre-preparing the questions, I discussed with him the plan as well as what were some questions I had already came up with so far. In the discussion Phil enquired about how I was going to get to know the Drag queens before the interview , we began to talk about ideas of how to do this with the suggestion of calling them and having a quick conversation with them so that they feel comfortable with me and I feel comfortable with them. I believe that this is a crucial element in the development of a documentary, getting to know who you are about to interview as I believe it makes you better prepared to be comfortable talking around a camera. This was something that I was going to need to think over and discuss with Lucas in what would be the best way to get to know the Drag Queens. Phil and I also discussed how I was planning to shoot the interview, I suggested that i was going to have a small team including myself one person to ask the questions and one person to handle the audio, Phil warned me to make it very clear in my blog to state who did what. I informed Phil that I have three possible contributors available one being an influencer on instagram another being a stage performer and finally one being a fashion catwalk icon for Drag. Phil said that i need to get in contact with them ASAP so that I will be able to know if they would be willing to take part in my interview.
