Post-production set up

 Post-production set up

Office set up :

This is the post-production set-up for the office I tried not to change around too many things as this is in fact an actual design and production room. I included a mannequin as this is an element of the set-up that presents the presentation of the ideas coming to life into a costume. I then added a white tree with measuring tapes for fashion as this has a sense of artistic inspiration that relates to the fashion industry.

I placed one of Lucas's Kimonos on the mannequin to present one of the pieces he has designed.

I set up the tripod to be perfectly facing Lucas so I could capture the master shot I was aiming for. I also added fabrics around the floor to express the mess of creativity and clothing, as fabrics are the fundamental element in creating a piece of loving which matches the conventions of what the documentary is about.

I decided to leave the sewing machines as this matches the conventions of what you expect to see in a designers work room.

Fashion show set up :

For the fashion show, I ensured that I was using similar coloured fabrics on the flaw that matched the office set-up so that the transition into each room is smooth and without disturbances. I also ensured we were in a room with a lot of natural light as this would complement the model more. Finally to match the conventions of what was being presented I used artwork pieces of Japanese Kimonos.
